‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Trailer Releases on Dec. 5
Prospective virtual carjackers don't have to wait long to get more details on the next 'Grand Theft Auto' game
Over 10 years after Grand Theft Auto V, the next Grand Theft Auto is nearly upon us.
In a simple but effective image posted across the company's social media accounts, Rockstar Games confirmed that the long-awaited trailer for the next entry in its storied crime drama franchise will release on Dec. 5, at 9 a.m.
The teaser image includes a few palm trees, seagulls and a vivid beach sunset sky stretching into the distance. It’s long been rumored (and thanks to a substantial leak of the game’s assets, all but confirmed), that the next Grand Theft Auto is set to take place in Vice City, the series’ fictional take on Miami.
It has been 5 years since Rockstar has released a brand new game. On the studio's 25th anniversary last month, the company announced that it was finally ready to reveal the next GTA to the public before the end of the year.
Considering the massive success of 2013’s Grand Theft Auto 5, which has since become the most profitable entertainment product of all time, its sequel is positioned to be one of the biggest games ever.
