USMNT Star Pulisic Transferring to Italy’s AC Milan
'Captain America' is moving to a new team
U.S. Men's National Team star Christian Pulisic has found a new club team. English Premier League club Chelsea agreed to a transfer with AC Milan of Italian Serie A for the 24-year-old forward’s services.
For AC Milan, the move is part of their effort to get back to the Serie A Championship, a title the club has won just three times in the past 24 years. Pulisic agreed to the transfer weeks ago, before Chelsea management, according to soccer insider Fabrizio Romano. The American forward won both a UEFA Champions League title and Club World Cup with Chelsea.
“Captain America” scored 25 goals for Chelsea in his four years with the club. Before signing with Chelsea, Pulisic was with German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, where he became the youngest player in club history to play in the UEFA Champions League.
