Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback Kenny Pickett exited Sunday's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars after being slammed to the turf in the second quarter by Jaguars defensive tackle Adam Gotsis.

Pickett went straight to the locker room and was quickly replaced by backup Mitch Trubisky. Trubisky remained in the game coming out of halftime.

Pickett was seen holding his right rib area, according to ESPN.

The injury occurred after an incomplete pass on what appeared to be a late hit where Gotsis placed his body weight onto the Steelers quarterback. There was no flag on the play.
