Phillies Host Postgame Party in Clubhouse, Joined by Eagles’ Fletcher Cox and Jordan Davis

As the Phillies celebrated advancing to their second consecutive NLCS, their friends from the Eagles came to visit

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackles Fletcher Cox and Jordan Davis were in attendance at Citizens Bank Park as the Philadelphia Phillies upset the Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series for the second consecutive year.

After the game, the Phillies partied like a group of guys enjoying a three-day weekend — and the Eagles duo joined them.

Both the Phillies and Eagles are on revenge tours after both teams came up short in their respective championships in 2022. The Phillies are once again facing an NL West team in the NLCS, and the undefeated Eagles seem - at these early stages - destined for a rematch with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game.

As their baseball-playing neighbors across from Pattinson Ave inch one step closer to redemption, Cox and Davis enjoyed a few songs — including Dancing On My Own — and beer baths with Bryce Harper and company.

The Braves and Phillies played the NLDS like two ball clubs that didn't like each other, and Orlando Arcía's "Atta boy, Harper" quote after Harper was thrown out to end Game 3 didn't help the situation.

When Harper homered in the series-clinching Game 4, he made sure to stare down Arcía.

The Phillies have arguably been overlooked in the NL East for the past two seasons. The 100-win Braves and New York Mets received the bulk of the attention in the division in 2022 and entering 2023. When the Mets had their trade deadline fire sale, all attention turned to the Braves' record-breaking lineup.

Still, the Phillies are the team that advanced the farthest in the postseason in both years, and backup catcher Garrett Stubbs left his teammates with one sentence to sum it all up.

"F--- the Bravos and whoever the f--- we play next, and always the Mets!"
