Eagles’ Kenneth Gainwell Blew Kisses to Jets Fans After Robert Saleh Made a Cheeky ‘Tush Push’ Joke
Saleh told reporters earlier this week that the Jets would give Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts '11 kisses' when he carried the ball
New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh was asked how the Jets planned to defend the Philadelphia Eagles' notorious "tush push" on Wednesday. The coach responded with a promise to give Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts "kisses."
"If Hurts] carries the ball, we've got to give him 11 kisses," Saleh told reporters in response to the question.
The Eagles and Hurts have seemingly reinvented the quarterback sneak play in the last year with their variation, known as the "tush push." The play works by having Eagles offensive players push Hurts by the backside during a quarterback sneak to increase the offense's leverage and likelihood of picking up a first down.
Prior to kickoff in Sunday's game between the Jets and Eagles, Philadelphia running back Kenneth Gainwell reportedly blew kisses to the New York fans at MetLife Stadium in response to Saleh's comments.
Before mentioning the "kisses," Saleh praised the Eagles' "tush push" and all the success they have had with it.

"The reality is, they're really good at it. Feels like [Hurts] is wearing a bullet-proof vest when you look at him, he's got all that padding on him.
"And they do a lot of stuff off it too. They've got reverses, they've got pop passes, they've got stretch plays. They do a lot so you gotta be sound, gotta be disciplined."
