The NFL has fined San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle $13,699 for wearing a "F--k Dallas" t-shirt under his jersey during San Francisco's win against the Dallas Cowboys on ESPN, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The shirt was a nod to former 49ers linebacker Gary Plummer wearing a similar shirt during the 1994 NFC Championship Game against Dallas.

Kittle posted a photo of him donning the shirt to his Instagram on Monday, and said "there are some things that have to be worn for the franchise," during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" later that day.

Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons took note of Kittle's choice of shirt, saying that Kittle is "making it way more personal than it had to be" during his "The Edge with Micah Parsons" podcast on Monday.

San Francisco won the contest 42-10, its third straight win against Dallas in as many seasons.

San Francisco (5-0) faces the Cleveland Browns (2-2) on the road at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
