There are 10 games in the NBA on Wednesday night with some great matchups. Two of the best teams meet when the Celtics (28–8) host the Timberwolves (26–10). The teams met in November and the Celtics won in overtime.

Joel Embiid is out due to a swollen knee. The 76ers play in Atlanta and the game total is 244.5 points, with the Hawks as 1.5-point favorites. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the Thunder (24–11) in Miami against the Heat (21–15); Oklahoma City is favored by 4.5 points.

The Pelicans are favored by 2.5 points on the road against the struggling Warriors, who have lost five of their last seven games. Here are the best bets for Wednesday.

Lauri Markkanen OVER 30.5 points+rebounds+assists (-120 BetMGM Sportsbook)
Markkanen is averaging 23.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The Jazz forward has gone over this in three of the last four games. In the last eight games he has played at least 29 minutes, Markkanen has gone over this prop in each one. He faced Denver on October 30 and had 27 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. The Jazz play better at home (11–5) and are 6.5-point underdogs with a total of 237.5 points.

Bennedict Mathurin OVER 17.5 points (-105 ESPN BET Sportsbook)
Mathurin has been playing well lately and the Pacers will need different players to score more with Tyrese Haliburton out due to a hamstring injury. Mathurin took the most shots from the field after Haliburton left Monday’s game in the second quarter. The Pacers guard took 15 shots in 29 minutes and scored 26 points against the Celtics. Mathurin has at least 18 points in five of the last six games, scoring 20 or more four times. The Wizards allow the most points per game in the NBA (126.3) and rank last in defensive efficiency. The game total is 252.5 points.

Tuesday’s record: 2–0 (+1.71 units)
All-time record: 164–94 (+51.89 units)
