LeBron James’ Son Bryce Transfers High Schools Again After Just 3 Months — Now He’s Back at the One He Started At
Bryce has now transferred three times throughout his high school career, which is only one shy of LeBron's team switches throughout his more than 20-year NBA career
LeBron James' son Bryce James has transferred for the second time in his high school career, according to Sports Illustrated.
Bryce has transferred back to the Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California — where he spent his freshman and sophomore year playing alongside his older brother, Bronny James, who is in his first season at USC.
Bryce only just transferred out of Sierra Canyon to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California back in August. Now he'll be returning to Chatsworth for his junior year having not even played a single game for Notre Dame.
But not playing at all for Notre Dame has actually ensured that Bryce will be completely eligible for Sierra Canyon this year, according to the CIF Southern Section's A-B-A rule.
If Bryce had stayed at Notre Dame, he only would have been eligible for the first half of the season due to the state's transfer rules.
LeBron famously pioneered an era of player mobility in the NBA when he chose to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers in free agency for the Miami Heat in 2010. Like Bryce, LeBron also returned to the team he started on when he re-signed with Cleveland in 2014.

It appears LeBron is taking his same approach to player mobility with his son's high school career. However, LeBron himself never transferred in high school, he played all four years at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Bryce has now transferred three times throughout his high school career, which is only one shy of LeBron's team switches throughout his more than 20-year NBA career.
Bryce averaged 3.8 points in 12 varsity games for Sierra Canyon as a sophomore last season. He is currently a three-star recruit and the 135th ranked prospect in the nation.
Bryce announced that he had received an offer from Ohio State on Oct. 7, in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Bryce attended the Ohio State football team's 37-17 win over Maryland earlier that day.
Ohio State was previously in the running for Bronny as well before he committed to USC in May.
