LeBron James: Bronny is ‘Just As’ Athletic as I Was at His Age
The elder James, who begins his 21st NBA season on Oct. 24, quote tweeted a video on X showcasing Bronny's athleticism
LeBron James has long been his son Bronny's most strident advocate. That continued on Tuesday.
The elder James, who begins his 21st NBA season on Oct. 24, quote tweeted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing Bronny's athleticism with the caption "Too [sic] say Bronny just as athletic or if not more than Bron was at his age isn’t wild ! He’s doing this at 6’2 not 6’8 🤷🏾♂️."
James Sr., 38, agreed, saying "Exactly!!! He’s definitely just as if not right there at his age. The casuals just like to argue about sh--t they literally don’t know about."
James has long spoken to his desire to play alongside his eldest son in the league.
“My last year will be played with my son,” James told The Athletic in 2022.
“Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”
