‘We’ll See You Next Season’: Diamondbacks Troll Dodgers After NLDS Sweep on Social Media
Arizona's social media team had some fun at the expense of Los Angeles after the Diamondbacks advanced to the NLCS
Come at the Arizona Diamondbacks, you best not miss.
Wednesday night, Arizona finished off a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Divisional Series. Early Thursday morning, the Diamondbacks X (formerly Twitter) account added insult to injury.
On Oct. 4, the Dodgers' X account had tweeted that Los Angeles "would see [Arizona] soon", tagging the Diamondbacks as well. But despite the Dodgers posted a 100-62 regular season record (while Arizona snuck in as the final NL wild-card team with a 84-78 mark), the Diamondbacks pulled off the upset -- with some trash-talk as the cherry on top.
All is fair when it comes to October baseball.
