Wednesday night, Arizona finished off a <a href="https://themessenger.com/sports/arizona-diamondbacks-blow-past-la-dodgers-to-progress-to-nlcs">three-game sweep</a> of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Divisional Series. Early Thursday morning, the Diamondbacks X (formerly Twitter) account added insult to injury.

But despite the Dodgers posted a 100-62 regular season record (while Arizona snuck in as the final NL wild-card team with a 84-78 mark), the Diamondbacks pulled off the upset -- with some trash-talk as the cherry on top.
