The Cleveland Browns came out swinging on Sunday.

As 9.5-point home underdogs, the Browns went into their Week 6 matchup against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers ready to fight, and pulled out a 19-17 win.

During pre-game warmups, a crowd of Browns players made their way to the 49ers sideline, prompting an altercation that resulted in a crowd of players from both teams coming together.

San Francisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel was seen driving his shoulder into Browns safety Juan Thorhill in closeup footage of the incident on Fox. Then 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams ran into Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore, causing Moore's helmet to pop off, as the two teams began to push and shove eachother.

"We went into the game thinking it was going to be a grimy game like it was," 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game.

Samuel then suffered a shoulder injury in the first half and was ruled out after racking up just 11 yards on two carries and no receptions. Samuel's X-rays came back negative, but he is due for an MRI on Monday.

Williams, who was also part of the fight, had to leave the game with an ankle injury and running back Christian McCaffrey had to leave withan oblique injury.

"Losing a couple guys in the game, just switching a couple guys around, we weren't ready for that," Shanahan said.

Meanwhile, the Browns overcame an early 10-point deficit under backup quarterback PJ Walker. Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson was ruled out with a shoulder injury this week, so Walker was named the starter for the second straight game.

Walker passed for 192 yards with two interceptions, but helped lead the Browns to a 13-10 lead in the second half. San Francisco responded with a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but Walker led two field goal drives in the final four minutes to give Cleveland a 19-17 lead.

Then in the final seconds, 49ers kicker Jake Moody missed a 41-yard field goal to end the game and leave San Francisco with its first loss of the year.

It was the Browns' first win against the 49ers since December 2015 when Johnny Manziel led Cleveland to a 24-10 victory, which was his last win as an NFL starting quarterback.
