Throughout Sunday night's 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was not on the same page with top target CeeDee Lamb. But since then, the two have straightened things out, according to them.

Lamb told reporters on Friday that Prescott came him earlier this week and said "If you have a problem with anything, just come up to me and we’ll talk about it.”

This came after the 24-year-old wide receiver had four receptions for 49 yards against San Francisco, marking the second straight game he failed to pass 50 yards receiving.

Lamb's frustration was visible during the game, frequently throwing his hands in the air on plays where Prescott did not pass to him during the game.

Prescott acknowledged Lamb's gestures, but defended his teammate on Friday.

"A frustrated player, person that feels like we all could’ve done better and feels like he can change the game, I understand it. I really do," Prescott said. "CeeDee is a guy that I’ll never lose confidence in and trust who he is and understand why he’s frustrated," the 30-year-old added. "But at the end of the day, he’s a leader. It’s about him leading other guys and picking other guys up and him just trying to make sure we’re all pushing our best. That’s where the frustration, we have to remove that. And he will."

Dallas (3-2) faces the Los Angeles Chargers (2-2) on Monday Night Football, its second-straight game in the state of California. Starting with that contest, do not be surprised if you see Prescott and Lamb hashing things out in real time.

"Hell, if it gets passionate, if the media makes it out to be something that it’s not, so be it," Prescott told reporters on Friday. "Who cares? ... Let’s get passionate and figure out an answer on the sideline.”
