Dallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons is believed to be battling the flu and was added to the the injury report Sunday after afternoon. Per Tom Pelissero, he's still expected to play Sunday Night against the Philadelphia Eagles in a pivotal divsional matchup.

Parsons has been dominant this season, tallying 23 tackles and 11.5 sacks in 11 games. When Dallas played Philadelphia in Week 9, Parsons had nine tackles and 1.5 sacks. Philadelphia won this matchup 28-23, overcoming a late comeback attempt by Dallas.

The 10-2 Eagles enter play leading the 9-3 Cowboys by just a single game in the NFC East. This primetime matchup will be pivotal to determining who will take the division crown.

Earlier this season, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also played a game while battling the flu against the Denver Broncos. However, Mahomes was no Michael Jordan in that game, as he threw for two interceptions and no touchdowns as the Chiefs lost to Denver for the first time since 2015.
