Dallas Cowboys star defensive end Micah Parsons has taken note of the rumored romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. And Parsons believes it could be the start of something for the rest of the NFL.

Parsons sent a challenge to other NFL players during his podcast "The Edge" on Monday, encouraging them to start "shooting their shot" with other celebrity figures.

"You shot from deep and you scored," Parsons said of Kelce. "You Stephen Curry, my brother. You might be the new Steph of football. That's dope. I can't even lie. I wanna see somebody shoot at somebody else. The NFL, we up right now.

"I challenge all my other NFL guys ... We gotta start going, brothers. I think Trav set the standard for this."

Parsons' comments come one day after the Cowboys lost their first game of the season to the Arizona Cardinals in a 28-16 upset. Dallas was an 11.5-point favorite. Their game took place at the same time slot as the Chiefs' 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears, which Swift attended. The pop star was seen in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium with Kelce's mother, Donna.

Parsons isn't the first NFL figure to comment on the rumored romance between Kelce and Swift. New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick weighed in on the relationship during a Monday appearance on The Greg Hill Show.

"Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career — this would be the biggest," Belichick said jokingly.

Swift and Kelce reportedly met up in New York City earlier this month. The Messenger was first to report the news Sept. 12. After the two were spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium together after Sunday's game, Kelce reportedly rented out a local restaurant for Swift and the rest of his teammates, according to ET.
