Williams had 121 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Week 3 win against the Minnesota Vikings before exiting the game on a trainers' cart with a towel on his head in the third quarter.

In his absence, five-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen, who missed seven games last season due to injury, is likely to see an expanded role.
