Caitlin Clark Says WNBA Decision Is a ‘Win-Win’
Clark could embark on a fifth year with the Iowa Hawkeyes next season
Caitlin Clark's potential move to the WNBA at season's end continues to be one of the hottest talking points in women's sports.
Earlier this week, Clark herself shed some light on the decision-making process -- well, sort of -- during an appearance on Mike Krzyzewski's Basketball and Beyond podcast.
“It’s a hard decision because, in my eyes, it’s like a win-win,” Clark told Krzyzewski.
“I can go and live out a lifelong dream. Or I can stay here [at Iowa] and be in college, start working on my master’s or start working on another degree and still play college basketball with some of my best friends. That’s what almost makes it so hard. Both seem so amazing.”
Clark, who recently added Gatorade to her Name, Image and Likeness portfolio, would play a fifth year for the Hawkeyes in the 2024-25 season should she decide to return to Iowa City.
During her current senior season, Clark is averaging 30.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists in 32.3 minutes of play.

Iowa is currently on an eight-game win streak and sits atop the Big Ten with an 11-1 record.
Clark is expected to go No. 1 overall should she declare for the draft. The Indiana Fever holds the first pick in the 2024 Draft after winning the lottery in October.
