Buffalo Bills’ Matt Milano and DaQuan Jones to Undergo Surgery, Out Indefinitely
The Buffalo Bills' injury woes have worsened. Linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones will undergo surgery, with both out indefinitely, per head coach Sean McDermott.
Milano and Jones went down in the first quarter of the Bills' 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday. Milano suffered a right leg injury while Jones went down with a pectoral injury.
Milano was named to his first Pro Bowl last season, and was also a first-team All-Pro member. Before suffering his injury, the 29-year-old had racked up 30 total tackles, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.
Milano is under contract with Buffalo through the 2026 season, having signed a two-year, $28 million extension with the franchise in March.
As for Jones, the 31-year-old -- in his second season with the Bills -- has accumulated 10 total tackles and 2.5 sacks so far this year. He is currently in the final season of a two-year, $14 million deal he signed with Buffalo in March of 2022.
Milano and Jones going down comes on the heels of Buffalo safety Tre'Davious White suffering a season-ending torn right Achilles against the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.
The Bills are currently fifth in the NFL in scoring defense and 12th in total defense, but the injuries are beginning to pile up -- in addition to White, defensive ends Greg Rousseau and Shaq Lawson and cornerback Christian Benford did not play against Jacksonville.

"You can't replace DaQuan. You can't replace Matt Milano. You can't replace Tre. That's just part of the game," Bills outside linebacker Von Miller told reporters on Sunday. "It's a terrible part of the game, to get injuries and especially serious injuries. You just got to keep moving.
"I know it sounds cliche, but it's really the only thing that we can do. It's going to suck losing those guys, but we just got to keep taking it one step at a time."
