Browns’ Deshaun Watson Still Doesn’t Know if He’ll Play vs. Cardinals
Watson was officially a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice and says his shoulder is getting better
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson told reporters on Thursday that he’s unsure if he will play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Watson has already missed three games in total this season with a recurring shoulder injury. Watson initially missed Weeks 4 & 6 with the injury, as the team had its bye in Week 5. He returned against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6 before leaving in the first quarter after getting sacked. Watson then missed last week's 24-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Watson was officially a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice and says his shoulder is getting better.
“It’s getting better each and every day,” Watson said. “The arrow is going up. The process has been very, very good. And we’re just steady, going day to day and making sure that we’re doing everything we can to build that strength and everything.”
Still, that's not enough for him to be sure that he will play this week against Arizona.
