The Portland Trail Blazers are trading guard Jrue Holiday to the Boston Celtics for Robert Williams, Malcolm Brogdon and draft assets, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The assets specifically include the Warriors' 2024 first-round pick and Boston's 2029 unprotected first rounder.

Last week, Holiday was traded to Portland in a three-team deal that sent Damian Lillard to the Bucks. But Holiday's time with Portland was short-lived — five days to be exact..

Wojnarowski reported Sunday that "the Celtics were among the teams at very top of Holiday's wish list in recent days and expectation is Celtics are eager to retain him long-term."

Boston's starting five projects to feature Holiday, along with guards Derrick White and Jaylen Brown, center Kristaps Porziņģis, and star Jayson Tatum.

Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, Al Horford and Oshae Brissett are expected to come off the bench.
