Buffalo Bills star linebacker Von Miller has turned himself in to the police in Glenn Heights, Texas after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Thursday morning, according to WFAA.

The Dallas news station reported that Miller was taken to the DeSoto regional jail where he posted his $5000 bond and has been released.

The warrant issued on Thursday states that Miller is being accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend at their Dallas residence on Wednesday morning.

Miller, a native of Desoto, Texas, and the Bills, are on a bye week before their Week-14 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The franchise released a statement on Miller's situation Thursday morning.

"This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point,” the statement wrote.

The 34-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion has played in eight games this season.
