Arizona Diamondbacks Hit 4 Home Runs in Third Inning of NLDS Game 3
Geraldo Perdomo sparked the rally with a lead off home run to start the inning
The Arizona Diamondbacks have made postseason history.
Sparked by a home run from Geraldo Perdomo, the Diamondbacks took a commanding 4-0 lead with all home runs coming in the bottom of the third inning of Wednesday's NLDS Game 3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
After Perdomo sent one deep, Ketel Marte followed up with one of his own. Two batters later, Christian Walker and Gabriel Moreno homered in back-to-back at bats to stretch the lead to 4-0.
This is the first time a team has recorded four home runs in a single inning in post season history.
The Diamondbacks entered Game 3 with a 2-0 series lead and a chance to clinch an NLCS berth.
