All Simone Biles Wants for Christmas Is to Be in Green Bay
Biles said that to spend time with her husband, Packers safety Jonathan Owens, in Green Bay (and their dogs!) is on her "holiday wishlist"
Simone Biles is riding high this year, with her return to gymnastics, her status as the most-decorated gymnast in the sport's history, and the new goal of competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics next summer.
But this holiday season, Biles is hoping to take a second to slow down and spend time with her family.
"This year on my holiday wishlist is to just spend quality time with my husband in Green Bay," the 26-year-old gymnast told People.
Biles attended Owens's game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, sharing a sweet moment ahead of the Packers' 27-19 win in Green Bay. For the next few weeks, she said, she hopes to take it easy.
Biles said that much of that includes spending time with family, specifically her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens, and their dogs.
"Our lives can get so busy, so I plan on prioritizing self compassion and daily well-being by getting great sleep, resting when I need to, and surrounding myself with people that lift me up — family, friends, and of course, my dogs!" Biles said.
Biles and Owens, who began dating in August 2020, got married last April, and are now building a house in Texas.
