Aaron Rodgers has defeated Dak Prescott in several big games in recent history. But now Rodgers is giving praise to the Cowboys quarterback as a spectator.

Rodgers expressed how impressed he's been with Prescott, especially after the Cowboys' 45-10 Thanksgiving win over the Washington Commanders, during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday.

"Dak Prescott has become one of my favorite quarterbacks to watch," Rodgers said. "He's really playing the position and he's using his cadence beautifully ... I love the way he's playing and he's really impressing me."

Prescott's 331-yard, four-touchdown performance has put him in the thick of this year's NFL MVP race. So far this season, Prescott has put up 2,935 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Nov. 14 made a case for Prescott to be this year's MVP.

"[Dak has] put games together here, a series of games, that are the best of his career. And in my view, right at the top of any that I've seen, is the fact that he's doing them back to back," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan. "He's really in a position where it's not only physical, but it's mental. He's really showed us all of that hard work, all of that time that's he put in and frankly, the adjustments that have been made over the past year, we're really seeing the fruits of that."

Prior to this season, Rodgers was 4-1 against Prescott in games between the Cowboys and Rodgers' old team the Green Bay Packers, including a win in Prescott's first playoff game in the 2016 NFC divisional round.
