Aaron Jones Inactive for Packers vs. Raiders on Monday Night Football: Report
Jones has plenty of time to rest as Green Bay does not play again until Oct. 22 vs. the Broncos
The Green Bay Packers' pursuit of a road win in Las Vegas just got a little harder.
Star running back Aaron Jones will be out after a troublesome hamstring injury was too much to see him activated ahead of a bye week, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. It comes after an initial report said Jones was "unlikely" to go.
Following tonight's Monday Night Football game, Green Bay does not play again until Oct. 22 vs. the Broncos.
Within that time, Jones will have to time to rest his body and salivate at the prospect of taking on a Denver defense which gave up 234 rushing yards to the New York Jets in Sunday's loss.
A.J. Dillon will now be the starting back as Green Bay (2-2) looks to stay within touching distance of the NFC North leaders, Detroit (4-1).
Jones has played in just two games this season for Green Bay (2-2), with 59 yards on 14 carries and one touchdown.
