Following the new precedent set with the 2023 Pro Bowl Games, the NFL and NFL Players Association have agreed on a deal to replace the 2024 Pro Bowl, per Pro Football Talk.

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will once again consist of a skills competition during the week, followed by a seven-on-seven flag football game on Sunday. Lineman will participate in a "skill-related activity" rather than the flag football game.

The players on the winning team at the Pro Bowl Games will receive $88,000 each, while the losers will earn $44,000 each.

The Pro Bowl replacement for the second year is in response to concerns about players suffering injuries during a Pro Bowl played in full pads with the format of a normal game. Players were already starting to back off the intensity prior to the new agreement last year.

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will take place on Feb. 4 in Orlando, one week before Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
