During the interview with NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, the Utah senator said if he was a representative, he would vote against an impeachment inquiry because he has not seen evidence demonstrating wrongdoing on President Joe Biden's part.

"We're not going to impeach someone because of the sins of their kids," Romney said.

The House will vote on whether to formalize the impeachment inquiry this week. House Republicans allege that the president benefitted from the business dealings of his son Hunter Biden.
