Donald Trump continued criticizing Fox News on Monday, claiming the network only airs negative coverage about him -- hours before the first part of his interview with Bret Baier was set to air.

The former president took issue with Fox reporting on a recent Quinnipiac poll showing President Joe Biden slightly leading Trump following the latter facing charges for allegedly mishandling classified material after leaving the White House.

“The Quinnipiac Poll FoxNews keeps showing on ‘TRUMP’ vs. Biden is not just an old Poll, it is a BAD Poll,” Trump wrote on Truth Social

The former president claimed the poll undersampled Republicans and he should be leading Biden.

The Messenger released an exclusive poll last week showing Trump and Biden in a near dead heat. The Messenger/HarrisX data showed Trump pulling 45 percent support compared to 43 percent for Biden. The data was taken among 930 registered voters and conducted June 15-16, making it a more recent sampling than the Quinnipiac data.

Quinnipiac University released date last week showing Biden drawing 48 percent support against Trump’s 44 percent in a hypothetical matchup. Nearly 2000 people were surveyed for the poll in early June and there’s a margin of error of 2.4 percent, according to Quinnipiac

Trump accused Fox News of using the poll to “only show negatives” about him and his supporters and claimed they did the same thing in 2016 when he won the presidency.

“Other Polls show me much higher than that, but [Fox News] will always attempt, as they did in 2016, to only show negatives on MAGA & TRUMP. We’re winning BIG, they don’t like it, the RINOS don’t like it, the Democrats don’t like it but, most of all, the Marxists & Communists don’t like it!” Trump wrote.
