Former Attorney General Bill Barr called former President Donald Trump a "consummate narcissist" who "constantly engages in reckless conduct that puts his political followers at risk" as well as the "Republican agenda."
Barr was discussing on CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday about what will happen if Trump becomes the 2024 Republican nominee, as many members of the GOP have flocked to his defense after Trump's 37-count indictment in the classified documents case.
When asked if he will put his country at risk if re-elected in 2024, Barr replied that he thinks Trump "will always put his own interests and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country's interests."
"He's a very petty individual," Barr said, adding, "Our country can't be a therapy session for a troubled man like this."
