Trump Holds Narrow Lead in Biden Rematch, in Front Among Young Voters: Poll

Former President Donald Trump holds a narrow lead over President Joe Biden, including leading the vote among young voters, according to a new poll.

Emerson College found Trump polling at 47% with Biden at 45% in a poll released Friday. Eight percent of voters remain undecided.

The poll also found Trump outperforming Biden among young voters, with a 2-point lead among 18-to-29-year-olds and an 11-point lead over 30-to-39-year-olds.

A national poll of the GOP primary from Emerson found Trump easily winning the nomination battle with 59% of the primary vote, followed far behind by Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis tied for second with 8%.

This poll lines up with other recent polls which have shown Trump narrowly leading Biden by a few points.

The latest Messenger/Harris poll conducted October 4-7 found Trump leading 45% to Biden's 41%.
