Trump Blasts Biden as ‘Corrupt,’ Says ‘Witch Hunt Is Causing Companies to Leave New York’
The former president called his trial 'political opponent court' and warned Republicans can 'do the same thing' when they are in power
Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday took to Truth Social amid his ongoing New York fraud trial and claimed the "rigged" process is inspiring businesses to up and leave the state.
The former president repeated past criticisms of New York Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Arthur Engoron and referred to the trial as "political opponent court."
Trump argued Republicans have the "right to do the same thing when we assume office."
"Sadly, it gives the Republicans the right to do the same thing when we assume office…And remember, Crooked Joe Biden is the most CORRUPT (and Incompetent!) President in the history of the U.S., VERY FERTILE GROUND THERE, but very bad for our Country!" Trump said. "This unfair political Witch Hunt is causing companies to leave New York at a record pace. They don’t want this to happen to them!"
Former Trump business associate Michael Cohen testified at the New York fraud trial this week, with Trump in attendance. He claimed he inflated assets and values for Trump.
