Sen. Cotton Endorses Kari Lake in Arizona

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., announced on Monday he is endorsing Arizona senatorial candidate Kari Lake.

"I am grateful for the endorsement of [Tom Cotton], someone who served our country honorably in the military and has been a conservative warrior in the Senate," Lake wrote on X.

The former gubernatorial candidate, who claimed fraud in her previous election, citing fighting the border and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's, D-N.Y., "far-left agenda."

Lake's race is significant for Republicans as they attempt to gain control of the Senate. Lake is attempting to grab a seat currently held by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz.

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is also running for the seat. Sinema has not announced her reelection plans.

Lake has also landed the endorsements of ally Donald Trump, as well as House Conference GOP Chair Elise Stefanik and Senate GOP Conference Chairman John Barrasso, R-Wyo.
