Sen. Ted Cruz Blasts Biden Border Wall Move as ‘Window Dressing’

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Thursday criticized the Biden administration's plan to waive 26 laws to allow the building of a border barrier as "window dressing."

"I do not believe for a minute Joe Biden wants to fix [the border crisis]," Cruz said while making an appearance on Fox News. "I think this is all window dressing to pretend he cares. His objective is he wants even more illegal immigrants."

Cruz said he believes Biden's immigration policy is being led by the progressives in the Democratic Party along with a "cynical" view that immigrants will vote Democrat.

"They're willing to look the other way, they're willing to tolerate people being killed, they're willing to tolerate children being brutalized, they're willing to tolerate thousands of women being sexually assaulted and a hundred thousand people dying of drug overdoses," Cruz said.
