Sen. Rubio Confronts Activists: ‘I Want Israel to Destroy Every Element of Hamas’

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., this week had an encounter with protesters asking for a ceasefire in the Senate earlier this week, telling them he wants "Israel to destroy every element of Hamas."

When asked if he would call for a ceasefire, Rubio answered "No, I will not. On the contrary."

"I want them to destroy every element of Hamas that they can get their hands on," Rubio told the activist. "These people are vicious animals who did horrifying crimes."

The senator also posted the audio of the confrontation himself, on his X account.

The protester also asked the Florida Republican about civilians being killed in Gaza — "I blame Hamas for that," Rubio responded.

Similarly in October, Rubio also called for the eradication of Hamas. "I don't think Israel can be expected to coexist for find some diplomatic offramp with these savages," he said then.
