Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday he wants to see Israel restore more water pipelines into Gaza after the country declared a "complete siege" as it continues to respond to the Hamas attacks earlier this month that took more than 1,400 lives.

Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, Blinken said Israel has restored access to one water pipeline and he pushed for humanitarian aid to the civilians in Gaza "caught in a crossfire of Hamas' making."

"Two things: First, there are multiple pipelines," Blinken told the show's host, Kristen Welker. "Israel turned back on one of the pipelines about six or seven days ago, so that was an important step. There are a couple of other pipelines that we'd like to see restored."
