RFK Jr. Responds to His Own Siblings Blasting Campaign: ‘Every Family Has Disputes’
After announcing an independent run, the 2024 hopeful said he's 'very much aligned with the Democratic Party that stood for the working class'
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not concerned with his own siblings blasting his 2024 presidential campaign.
After announcing he's abandoning his longshot road to the Democratic Party nomination, Kennedy Jr. announced this week he is running an independent campaign for the White House in 2024.
Appearing on Fox & Friends on Tuesday, co-host Brian Kilmeade brought up four of Kennedy Jr.'s siblings releasing a joint statement blasting his campaign and arguing he's not aligned with their Democratic father, Robert F. Kennedy.
Kennedy Jr.'s family has opposed him publicly before, especially on his vaccine skepticism views.
Asked if the opposition to his announcement "hurt," Kennedy Jr. insisted he loves his family no matter their disputes.
"You know what, I love my family. Every family has disputes," he said.

Kennedy Jr. noted there are a number of family members who are supporting him, while others worked in the Biden administration or are supporting him.
"They have their own opinions about issues," he said.
The former Democrat argued the two major political parties are "in paralysis" as they constantly bicker over which is worse. He theorized most voting for the current president simply don't want the former president to win, calling it "the impulse to govern by fear."
Kennedy Jr. said he's "very much aligned with the Democratic Party that stood for the working class."
He also said during his Fox appearance he won't be engaging in "vitriol" or "bitterness," even if he's targeted by Donald Trump as a potential threat to his campaign.
