The pro-Robert Kennedy Jr. Super PAC American Values 2024 announced that they passed $11 million in donations in just the first six hours following the candidate's announcement that he's running as an independent.

"It's clear that Bobby is inspiring a populist movement that unites left and right, black, and white, rural and urban, young and old.  His campaign is a movement built for and by the people, not corrupt politicians and corporations," Tony Lyons, founder of the Super PAC said in a statement, which touted that donations came equally from Republicans, Democrats, and independents.

After Kennedy Jr.'s announcement, the PAC brought in approximately $11.3 million. They've raised more than $28 million since being founded last year.

In a Tuesday appearance on Fox & Friends, Kennedy Jr. accused the two major parties of being "in paralysis" and vowed to run a campaign that avoids "bitterness" and "vitriol."

Kennedy Jr. was previously running a longshot campaign to challenge President Joe Biden for the Democratic Party's 2024 nomination.
