Ramaswamy Calls Haley a ‘Trojan Horse’ in GOP Plot to Knock Trump Off the Ballot

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy says rival Nikki Haley is a "Trojan Horse" doing the bidding of Democrats to defeat former President Donald Trump.

"Larry Fink to Reid Hoffman, who are they propping up?" said Ramaswamy in a conversation caught on video this week. "They want it to be a two-horse race, eliminate [Trump], put up actually a Trojan Horse in the Republican Party that keeps the war machine running and keeps the restrictions on speech and censorship agenda."

Hoffman, a top Democratic donor and founder of LinkedIn, donated $250,000 to a pro-Haley super PAC. Hoffman's donation came on the heels of Republican donor Jamie Dimon urging Democratic donors to support Haley in an attempt to give Republicans a serious alternative to Trump.

Ramaswamy previously claimed that Fink, who founded Blackrock, the private equity firm, had endorsed Haley, which Fink denied.

Ramaswamy began stepping up attacks on Haley as she rose in the polls while he fell. While Ramaswamy had a moment in the Republican presidential primary, he's fallen back to a virtual tie with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at around 3%. Haley, meanwhile, is now in a virtual tie for second place with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 11%.

The tension between Ramaswamy and Haley has been on display during the Republican primary debates, at which Ramaswamy has levied personal attacks against Haley that other candidates have criticized. Haley's debate performances have received positive responses from Republican primary voters, while Ramaswamy's has been negatively received.
