Poll Shows Kari Lake With Narrow Lead Over Gallego, Sinema in Arizona
Lake led Gallego by four percentage points, while Sinema saw 19%
Potential Republican nominee Kari Lake holds a narrow lead over Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., and incumbent Sen. Krysten Sinema, I-Ariz., in a hypothetical three-candidate race for Sinema's Senate seat, a new survey found.
Lake led Gallego by four percentage points in the survey, garnering 37% to Gallego's 33% and Sinema's 19%. The poll was conducted from Oct. 7-9 by the Republican research firm National Research Inc. among 400 likely voters.
Another 10% of voters said they were undecided.
Its results come after a separate poll — published by the Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling — found Gallego led both Lake and Sinema in the race.
Though Lake has not formally launched a campaign yet, she is expected to announce her bid for the seat Tuesday evening at a rally.
