Former President Barack Obama is worried about President Joe Biden's campaign and the chance of former President Donald Trump winning the 2024 election, according to a new report.

Three sources told the Washington Post reports that Obama advised Biden and top Biden aides to change the campaign's staffing structure so that the White House does not need to sign off on all decisions.

Obama has also increased his presence on the fundraising trail for Biden, and has helped raise $4 million in small-dollar donations this cycle, according to Biden officials who spoke with the Post.

The Post reported that Obama was "animated" at the thought of Trump returning to the White House.

Recent polls have shown Biden and Trump neck and neck, with Trump leading in key swing states.
