New York City Mayor Eric Adams was heckled during a trip to a Colombia town on Saturday, according to local reports.

"Shame on you, Mayor Adams," one onlooker can be heard saying as the mayor talks to local officials, according to video from local media.

Adams' visit is part of a larger Latin America trip where he's highlighted the struggles New York City is facing as states like Texas have bused thousands into the city.

"It will increase the amount of violence against migrants across the United States!" one man could be heard yelling at Adams on Saturday.

The protest may have been in response to Adams declaring during his trip that there is "no room" in New York City for more migrants.

"It was crucial for us in my delegation to come here and engage on the ground," the Democratic mayor said during his trip to Necoclí, a port town thousands of migrants travel through each year on their way to South America and then North America.
