Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., took a shot at the House Freedom Caucus on Thursday, referring to it as the "burn-it-all-down caucus."

"I'm not a member of the burn-it-all-down caucus anymore. I'm a greatly, very happily a free agent and I want to do my job here," Greene said after a closed-door GOP meeting, according to The Hill.

House Freedom Caucus members revealed over the summer Greene was booted from the conservative group after supporting a debt limit deal backed by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., as well as a run-in with Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., another member of the group, in which Greene called her a "little b--ch."

McCarthy has had tensions with House Freedom Caucus members, including Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who suggested voting to oust the House Speaker from his position.

Greene's comments follow a number of Republican lawmakers, including some House Freedom Caucus members, refusing to support Department of Defense appropriations bill until their overall spending cut demands are met.

Greene criticized some of her colleagues for opposing the bill, but not attending meetings where it has actually been discussed.

"They can’t stand out and hold press conferences but not attend our conference meetings and expect to work things out," she said.

There was some confusion about Green's position with the caucus, as even she said in July she hadn't been told by anyone but the press that she was out.
