Marjorie Taylor Greene Called Lauren Boebert a ‘Little Bitch’: Here’s Why
Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert a "little bitch" on the House floor on Wednesday because Greene thought Boebert copied her efforts to impeach the president, Semafor reported.
Both lawmakers are trying to impeach President Joe Biden. Greene first put forth impeachment articles in January 2021 and then did so again in May, while Boebert introduced articles in June, and more recently tried to force a vote on her own impeachment articles.
Greene told reporters Wednesday morning that Boebert “basically copied my articles." Boebert asked Greene later that day what she had told the press.
“I was sitting down, and so I stood up and I said, ‘I'm happy to clarify my public statements to your face,’” the Georgia Republican told Semafor.
“I told her exactly what I think about her," Greene added, which entailed her being annoyed that Boebert introduced her own articles rather than supporting Greene's.
Greene then accused Boebert's efforts to be "purely for fundraising." The Georgia lawmaker continued, “It's throwing out red meat so that people will donate to her campaign because she's coming up on the end of the month, and she's trying to produce good fundraising numbers.”
The argument was tense, and included Boebert reportedly accusing Greene of spitting on her lip—albeit accidentally.

Later, Greene told the outlet that when Boebert tried to get her attention again, Greene cut Boebert off: “I said ‘you need to shut up because the only person that’s recognized to speak right now is Luna,’” referring to Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., who giving a speech.
Boebert did not respond to Semafor's requests for comment.
