D.C. Judge Tanya Chutkan this weekend became the victim of a "swatting" call, at her home according to reports.

Audio of the call was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Saturday call happened just after 10 p.m. to Chutkan's home in Crestwood, a neighborhood in D.C. The D.C. Metropolitan police were told there were "multiple people shot" but quickly responded and determined the report was "unfounded," according to reports on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Chutkan was home when the police arrived, NBC reports.

Chutkan, who is overseeing Trump's trial for his attempt to overturn the 2020 election, now joins a list of political figures who have been "swatted" recently.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Brandon Williams, R-N.Y., were both victims of fake calls to law enforcement reporting nonexistent threats in their homes last month.

The rise in incidents has led Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to call on lawmakers last week to pass an anti-swatting bill to increase penalties for making calls such as these.
