GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley has canceled all in-person campaign stops in Iowa after the National Weather Service’s Des Moines office issued a blizzard warning, and will instead, host "tele-town halls."

The weather advisory warned of "life threatening wind chills" throughout the weekend and a "very dangerous winter storm," which began Thursday night and is expected to last through Friday bringing 6 to 10 inches of snow.

Haley's campaign announced their schedule change just hours after the weather service issued the warning.

The change, however, wouldn’t “stop us from ensuring Iowans hear Nikki’s vision for a strong and proud America,” Pat Garrett, a spokesperson for Haley’s campaign, said.

Republican presidential candidates Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Donald Trump, and Haley all had planned for heavy campaigning in Iowa this weekend ahead of the first-in-the-nation caucus on Monday.

Both Trump and Haley have had to cancel events due to issues flying into Iowa and the weather, respectively.

Ramaswamy's campaign told Politico that they will host their Friday events as planned if possible. He mocked Haley after she canceled her Sioux City event, posting on social media that his car had gotten stuck in a ditch on his way back to Des Moines and a "good Iowan" helped them out. Ramaswamy also canceled multiple events throughout the week due too inclement weather conditions.

DeSantis attended one event on Friday morning, however the other two in Pella and Cralville were later canceled by his political action committee, Never Back Down, according to NewsNation.
