A Republican senator is continuing to air Rep. Matt Gaetz’s proverbial laundry, claiming on Thursday that he once called South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem a “fine b-word.”

Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-OK, said in on an appearance on Newsmax that the Florida representative once had a crush on Noem during an appearance on Newsmax, the Daily Beast was the first to report.

“He said, ‘Man she’s a fine —,’ and you can put the b-word in place there," Mullin said.

Mullin said that while Gaetz apologized later for the comment, it shows the "type of individual Matt Gaetz is.”

Mullin’s comments come one day after he alleged on CNN that Gaetz would "brag about how he would crush E.D. [erectile dysfunction] medicine and chase it with energy drinks so he could go all night.”

Gaetz, who led the charge to oust former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy this week, faces a House Ethics probe over accusations of sexual misconduct. He also faces claims of bribery and illicit drug use.
