Cruz on Biden’s Handling of Border Crisis: ‘Utterly Ignores the Law’
Cruz said Biden’s handling of the issue ‘is qualitatively different than we’ve ever seen in the history of the country’
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX, said Tuesday that President Joe Biden “utterly ignores the law” with regards to his handling of the border crisis.
Appearing on the Cats & Cosby Show - WABC 770 AM, Cruz said Biden’s handling of the issue “is qualitatively different than we’ve ever seen in the history of the country.”
“In fact, Joe Biden has made me do something I never thought I would do, which is miss Barack Obama. I disagreed with Obama on a lot of policies,” said Cruz.
“But on immigration, by and large, Obama followed the law. What Biden has done that no president of either party has ever done is he utterly ignores the law.”
Cruz then told hosts John Catsimatidis & Rita Cosby he agreed with New York City’s Democratic Mayor Eric Adams who called illegal immigration “a crisis.”
“It is destroying New York City … Now, I agree, New York is paying a real price for the Biden open borders.”
