The conservative Super PAC Club for Growth has endorsed Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., for Indiana governor.

Braun is running for the Republican nomination against Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, former Attorney General Curtis Hill, and former secretaries of commerce Brad Chambers and Eric Doden. The current GOP Indiana governor, Eric Holcomb, is term-limited leaving the seat open.

"Sen. Mike Braun is a proven conservative fighter who will stand up and protect Hoosier values as Indiana’s next Governor – we are proud to endorse him in the race," Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh said in a statement announcing the endorsement. "We will do whatever it takes to ensure Sen. Braun is elected Governor."

McIntosh is a former congressman who represented Indiana.

Braun had plenty of support from conservative organizations for his run, including Prosperity and the National Troopers Coalition and Americans for Prosperity.
