President Joe Biden's dog Commander bit another U.S. Secret Service agent at the White House on Monday, The Messenger has confirmed.

"Yesterday around 8pm, a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer came in contact with a First Family pet and was bitten. The officer was treated by medical personnel on complex," USSS chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.

CNN, which was first to report the incident, wrote that the agent spoke to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle on Tuesday and is "doing OK."

This is at least the 11th biting incident involving Biden's 2-year-old German Shepherd at the White House and in the president's home state of Delaware, according to CNN. One incident in November 2022 resulted in an officer being hospitalized.

Commander first came to the White House in July 2021 after another one of Biden's dogs, Major, was moved out after a series of biting incidents.
