The funeral for Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who passed away last week at the age of 90, will be held at San Francisco City Hall on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. and will feature speeches from key politicians and friends of the late political trailblazer.

Key speakers will include San Francisco City Mayor London N. Breed, Vice President Kamala Harris, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., as well as Feinstein's granddaughter Eileen Mariano.

President Joe Biden's recorded remarks will also be played at the memorial on the steps of City Hall.

In the wake of Feinstein's passing, politicians on both sides of the aisle offered their condolences in remembrance of the senator who cast her last House votes just one day before she died.

A vase with white roses was placed on Feinstein's empty desk in her honor in the House chamber on Friday where Schumer, among many others, delivered emotional remarks on the House floor.

"We look at that desk and we know what we've lost but we also give thanks. Thanks to someone so rarefied, so brave, so graceful, a presence served in this chamber–someone like that served in this chamber for so many years," Schumer said at the time.
