President Joe Biden took a humorous jab at himself at an event in Connecticut Friday and quipped to an audience: “Try being 110” years old.

Biden is 80.

In his speech at the National Safer Communities Summit in Connecticut, Biden told attendees advocating for gun rights:  “A lot of you are tired" fighting for gun rights.

"You’re tired and I get it … try being 110 and doing it again," he added.

His comment incited laughter and some clapping from audience members.

It's not the first time Biden has used self-deprecating humor to joke about his age.

Earlier this year at King’s Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta to mark Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, he quipped: “You’ve been around for 136 years. I know I look like it, but I haven’t."

According to the White House pool reporter, Biden ended his speech with "God save the Queen, man."

Principal Deputy White House Press Secretary later explained that Biden was "commenting to someone in the crowd" when he referred to the queen.

At 80, Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history, will embark on his reelection campaign next year.

Donald Trump is 77.
